How Emotions Become Trapped in the Body

Emotions are not just mental events — they are physical phenomena. When an emotion is too intense to process in the moment, the body stores it as tension in muscle tissue, fascia and organs. Chronic pain, digestive issues, immune dysfunction and mental health struggles are often the downstream effects of long-term emotional suppression. True liberation requires releasing these physical holdings.

The Vibrational Mechanism of Emotional Release

Sound and vibration are uniquely powerful for emotional release because they bypass the analytical mind. When you chant OM, the vibration penetrates directly into body tissue, loosening the physical holdings of suppressed emotion. The breath then acts as a vehicle — carrying the released charge out of the body on the exhale.

Body Awareness: Sit quietly. Breathe deeply. Ask: where in my body am I holding tension right now? Notice without judgment.

OM Penetration: Direct your OM chant to that location. Breathe into it. Allow whatever sensations, emotions or memories arise to surface without suppression or analysis.

Conscious Release: With each exhale, release whatever is ready to go. Warmth, tingling, tears or deep spontaneous breaths — all are signs of release.

Integration: After release, rest in silence for 2-3 minutes. Allow the body to integrate the shift.
